Children’s rights and empowerment

Enabling children and teenagers to achieve their full potential through quality education, talent and life skills development through the following activities:

  • Out of school children re-enrolled back to school

  • Capacity building of teachers to deliver quality education

  • School clubs for life skills development and access to children’s right to play

  • After-school clubs and Holiday camps: using sport and performing art to empower children (50% girls) with life skills and improve their mental and physical health.

  • Mentorship programme including gender mainstreaming (taking care of the specific needs of girls, teen mothers and boys): mentorship, life skills sessions, SRH sessions and peer education

  • Scholarship for vocational skills training
  • Parenting workshops to support parents raising children in informal settlements.

  • Linking children to sponsorship/ scholarship programme
